I have a 2014 chevrolet sonic lt 1.8. When driving at low speed around 17 - 34mph, between 2nd gear at 2500 - 3200 rpm. and 3rd at 1800 - 3000rpm, there is a soft whining/whistling noise that seems to be coming from the engine bay, it's only hearable at those speeds and rpm range, its not super annoying but I figured that I would mention it incase someone is having similar issues? Can someone help me out?
Then for my other problem! I know many of you might tell me that this is a CV axle but they still look brand new, I think I had them replaced about 6k miles ago. When turning right sharply, I hear a loud ticking noise, its noticable when the car is filled with passengers but when its just be, its only hearable if I turn at a higher speed. Does anyone know what this problem may be? Maybe something with the steering rack? I doubt its the CV axle but if someone can throw me some info that would be great!
Thanks!!
