Knew that part.
I was asking if +40 was a good offset for the Sonic or not.
I've looked at wheels for other cars I've had that the seller says "they fit" only to realize they were +40 and my car needed +22 or +26, etc.
It's just Ebay sellers being Ebay sellers.
(We can sell a bunch of these least desirable sizes online to people who don't know they won't fit since they can't try them on!)

My Drag 33s offset is .40 and they fit. I think stock 17" is .39.
