Well I have the zzp full turbo back exhaust.. delete both cats and res. So no I won't pass..but I don't have to worry about that for a few years with a new car.. and I have the stock exhaust system still so when that day does come I will throw it on...

Yea you can take the exhaust off so when the time comes. But what about the turbo upgrade?

the turbo upgrade shouldn't affect the emissions.. I will be keeping the stock location of the exhaust mounting places.

Why a stage 4 clutch? A stage 3 should handle between 350 and 500 ft/lbs depending on brand and build. Do you imagine putting more than that out? In my experience, stage 4s are a pain in the ass for a daily driver.
The other thing, NOS, that kit on DDM is expensive as hell, lol. Aren't there huge cons to running NOS? Such a small engine for that much power, what are your final predictions for your hp/tq before and after the turbo upgrade with all your other planned mods?

I really have no realistic reason for getting a stage 4 rather then a 3.. just that the 4 sound cooler.. lol. I drive a rig for a living my clutch leg is use to the hard pedal and traffic..
yea the nos is expensive. but they built a kit and mounting hardware for it all ready so the hard part is done..
I only want the nos kit for straight track use. 1/4 mile..
i have still been unable to get to the 1/4 mile yet on the list for next year.I am hoping to top out at 300 hp. not sure if the internal stocks parts and handle it.. I will be replacing the valve springs also. But I will find out.. I do plan on getting another engine and building it up just incase i blow this one into pieces.. hoping to pick up an engine in early spring..
unless a killer deal comes along..

Just installed my 42 injectors and ported the intake today.. took it out for a spin.. and he feels a little smoother at the top end..
But that was just a little ride we will see how it goes..

I love that MN doesn't require emissions anymore. I mean seriously, pretty much any of us can make just about any vehicle behave any way we'd like it to, FOR FIVE MINUTES. Imagine the tax dollars spent on testing centers, employees, and infrastructure, all to be outsmarted by a 17 year old who figured out that if you pull the PCV you've got a better chance of passing!!

haha agree 100%. only thing keeping me from getting the race O2 downpipe is when i transfer out of south carolina, there's a chance ill go somewhere with emissions laws -__-

The air vent for the air intake, MPFab just posted a mod thread about making one. It's vented in order to bring cooler air up to the intake through where the snorkel usually goes.

I'm not sure what you're talking about. Walker made this thread a long time ago, a how-to for ducting LTZ foglights to the CAI, if that's what you mean by venting the fog light unit
