Hi everyone, I have a little over 500 miles on my Sonic and it already has two issues and since I'm new to owning a new car I was curious as to if any of you were familiar with these issues or if they're covered under warranty.
First, I just noticed today that there is a small white rub mark on my rear driver side quarter panel (I know for a fact that I haven't hit anything as I baby the car, and if someone were to hit me I would have surely heard the alarm sound). Another curious note is that it is a vertical scratch and not a horizontal one. It really isn't noticeable from a distance but if you're looking for it, it's there. That really bothers me being that it has just shy over 500 miles.
Second, there is a small squeak toward the back of the car immediately after I shift gears, most noticeable between 1st and 2nd. Is this an issue with the transmission or is this a problem with my shifting mannerisms, or is it just still getting broken in? This is my first time owning a manual as well so I'm not familiar with what to expect.
