If you have AT&T and DSL home Internet look into getting the AT&T Microcell.. it gives you full bars and 3G/4G all thru yiur home internet and its free.. just $200 for the box but you can easly find it for $70 on ebay

Its more than just my house. It is miles of area out here. I'm not sure how far west or north the blackout goes but it starts 15 miles east of town and goes from there at least 15 south.. haven't traveled too far west or north with someone with att but it goes at least 20 north and 8 west. Att would like to have you believe it doesn't affect many areas but I can count 5 communities in 3 counties this effects.

Hah! Yeah it feels like it. Esp when I had to wait sooo long for the iphone to come out to some other carrier. Then I switched just before verizon got it. So back to verizon I go. I live in an area where even the closest dollar general is 30 min back road drive. Walmart is 50.

an hour and 45 minutes to get to any kind of a mall, or larger shopping. I'm hoping to move closer to the Manhattan (KS) area once I'm done with school. Its a great town big enough but not a city, and people there LOVE their cars. I see a dozen different modded-out cars each time I am there. It makes me smile.

I'm more KS/NE at the moment, 18 miles from the NE border, smack in the middle of HWY 36.. 36 is kinda long forgotten , it's like the dried up frosting in the oreo that i80 and i70 make up. I like it here, it's affordable, friendly, get the best of all the weather, and the hunting is awesome (when I'm not fending off every out of stater and his brother-in-law...)
