here. I think it has happened to quite a few people.
The dealer didn't seem to know about the TSB. However I would expect that considering the car is new, and service advisors don't work on the cars, just write them up.
One thing I will say, is that I am NOT taking the "could not duplicate" as an excuse. I'm an ASE certified master technician and a state inspector. Sometimes you really can't duplicate something, but about 70% of the time, it just means you got a lazy-ass technician working in the shop.
I have also had to exercise my states lemon law about 3 years ago, on another brand of vehicle that will not be mentioned here, So I know how that process works already. Its easier than most people think.
This is NOT a good start for the Sonic. The Colorado I just got rid of though, was pretty trouble free.
