Maps are now appearing for me inside the app - attempting to download now - it's not really moving.
It also still appears to lock me to the guest account but we'll see what happens when the maps download.

Edit: Once maps download for a region (I picked Eastern US) it brings to main screen. You can now create accounts, apparently.
I was able to create, verify and login to my account.
Can any of you smarter Android users post up the APK to download. Seems it will not show up in the Google Store for me.
I would like the same thing but its a paid app so prob not gonna happen
Any info on whether there are verbal turn by turn directions, or is this just visual on the screen, no verbal? Big disappointment if it's just a visual system. Will probably just continue using Google Navigation.
Also, a comment to Vanessa. It turns out that this is a dealer upgrade and takes an hour. So ridiculous and old school, that I have to make an appointment, drive 35 miles (70 round trip) to my dealer, and then wait for an hour --- most likely more than that, by the time they actually get to my car --- for a simple software upgrade that should be downloadable by owners to a flash drive and just installed in the car. You can bet if this was Mini or Fiat, this would be user downloadable and installable. But, hey, this is GM, the company that also brings us Buicks and Cadillacs. No big surprise that everyone on here seems to report that the dealers no NOTHING about this. Consumers shouldn't have to tell them about BRINGGO or a Mylink upgrade. They should know. And by the way, I've never gotten an email from my.chevrolet.com telling me to schedule an upgrade for this. Geez.
I was SO hopeful that this cool little car would mean that GM was now a cool car company. But you can only hope for so much, eh?
