The Seibon CF Hood, Drag DR33 wheels wearing Kumho Ecsta ASX tires, ZZP intake and DDMWorks 2.25 cat-back exhaust and the Kicker Bass Station were originally on the 2012 Sonic LT.

I may go lower and will get a shark fin antenna this summer. Also, the crossed flag fender badges are ready to go on when the weather gets warmer.

Your Sonic looks really good, Laborsmith. Ended up putting the same wheels on my Sonic with some Dunlop Direzzas. Better grip, but a little noisier. How do you like the Kumhos? Haven't tried those yet.
Are you thinking about painting the lip or the hood? Or highlighting the lines of the hood?
Yellow Sonic looks sharp also. Custom paint? And already up for sale?

That one-off lip REALLY makes the car look good...the angles are perfect.

Hmmm....so many ideas going through my mind...as much as I like the red on the Sonic, white is looking good to me.

So tempted to just go put my money down now for my car...white RS locally just went down another $700...it's now only $19,639...

Man, not to threadjack but that's a nice price on an RS. Only 1 within 50 miles of me here and, of course, it's a contact dealer for price with MSRP of $22,070

Laborsmith.... I was wondering if you notice any change in Fuel Economy since the lip install?

I may have. I got 36.4 hand calculated with normal freeway driving returning from Chicago Sunday, which is much higher than my normal 32-33 on the freeway. But I did get 37 one time although that was not normal freeway driving for me - I was following some semi trucks who were averaging 60mph. I am normally too impatient to do that.

The real test will be when I go to New Orleans in April. If I average over 35 down and back I will be quite happy.

Eric and wingman, if Pedders Sonic lowering coils were available I would already be lowered.

I have considered coilovers but too many choices both amount of drop and firmness of dampers. If I raced than coilovers would be a no brainer but I don't race and given I see thru only one eye I don't expect to.

Laborsmith... I really think that lip will increase the fuel MPG. I am stoked I want to get one pretty soon...

Plus it looks Fricking Awesome.

Hell, at the march meets last weekend the top fuel winner was in his 70's (a few years back, but still). High 5 sec 1/4's.

Scary. But I must say I rarely park straight so imagine trying to complete the quarter in 12 or 14 seconds AND stay between the lines. Anyone questioning me must first put on an eye patch and then try parking in your driveway. If you can do it and still park straight you are a better driver than I am.

Aside from appearance my interest in the lip was directing air through the engine compartment when driving at highway speed to help keep the area around the engine and transmission cooler. There is a chance that that action might have a negative impact on mpg.

My trip to New Orleans and Florida should be completed by the ides of April and we'll no more than. We drove the LT to Las Vegas last June and round trip averaged 38mpg - that is what happens when one treats the posted speed limit as the minimum. I should do good in April because I rarely go over 65 on I-75 in Ohio. Oh, contrary to popular belief, since some time after 9/11 Ohio reports speeding tickets to Michigan - I'll let you guess how I can speak so authoritatively to this.
