SteveDigg, I think you get the Oscar for "Most Mind Boggling Response from a Chevy Dealer Yet." You may want to call Chevy Infotainment support at 800-222-1020 and go through the menu to get to Mylink owner support. They should be helpful.
Laborsmith, yes it's noticeable that Matt and Vanessa haven't posted anything on here or the Mylink thread in a couple of days.
It's Wednesday morning (Wed night in Seoul, Engis' headquarters) and still no response from Engis/Bringgo to my messages of Friday and Tuesday regarding incompatibility of my phone.
I went into Twitter, and while Chevy service departments may be clueless about the uprgade, their sales people are tweeting out the praises of Bringgo. Go search "Bringgo" on Twitter, and there are a number of dealer posts about Bringgo. I replied to every one with something along the lines of "Get the real scoop from Chevy Sonic owners re: Mylink Bringgo upgrade mess at Sonic Owners Forum http://goo.gl/ReEcB".
I heard back from BringGo support again this morning. I had asked them for a refund of the .99, and even in my email it had the issues and steps I went with with iTunes/Apple. They said they would refund my money after I sent them my google account information.
They don't even know which way is up......
