I've got $5 that says they only add two or three devices to the list and not just open it up to anything with a minimum OS/memory requirement....

Day one, I removed the rear head rests. I don't care about my passengers back there.
Best mod! took all of 5 mins once I figured out that I had to lean the seat-backs forward to get them all the way out. Then, I had to remove the kid's seat from the other side to get that one out too. But, I can see a lot better now, but it's still pretty poor at least in the sedan, a backup camera would be awesome!
Anyways, sorry to get off topic.
I see that bringo says April 5th there will be an update....I know it works perfectly on my droid 4, so we will see if they add that model (XT894, Bringo.) if it's not added, I would like a specific thing that is broken, because it works awesome for me, and I've used it for about 700 miles now. Granted, the 3-d versions of bridges and stuff isn't always accurate, but it's better than being blind.

I echo Laborsmiths comment.. this issue is affecting many if not all Droid owner with mylink. I'm sure there are a lot of people like me in this forum that just sit back and read all the posts to see when the solution if finally posted. However..... It seems that we have to change the perception of Chevy, Mylink and Agis so that they/YOU know that this issue is wide spread.
Nice to see more folks chiming in on this, beyond those of us that have been holding down the fort here for the past month. It's a hassle to set up an account to post a reply on here, but the fact that new names show up means that this issue isn't limited to a handfull of obsessive complainers.
Maybe our pushing, pushing, pushing on this did make somebody at Chevy take notice. I, for one, have tweeted back on every clueless tweet by Chevy salespeople touting the praises of Bringgo, and directed them here to check out the Bringgo mess for themselves. Sometimes I get a bug up my A** about something, and am like a dog with a bone. And this is one of those things. My Chevy dealer, by the way, who touted Bringgo when I bought in Oct., has yet to respond to my requests for a callback. Even if I buy another Chevy (and right now that's a big IF), I'll never buy it from Robert Green Chevrolet in Rock Hill, NY. Vanessa and Crystal, you may want to follow up with that dealer and ask why Robert Green Jr. (Robbie) never called me back.
We'll all just have to see what happens on April 5th. But I'm not holding my breath.

I've posted up in the Spark forums, but came here as there's way more activity and hopefully pressure to see some action... I have two sparks and two separate feature phones from Verizon that are the highest sold phones around and can't believe that compatibility is that huge of an issue.
ADD me to the list of less than satisfied customers when it comes to basic device support that every other navigation app seems to produce with little conflict.

Well I feel better that they only said it was scheduled for April 5th, not that it WILL be on April 5th. At least no promises were broken.
I like this contradiction...
From Bringgo Website:
"Bringgo for Android works with the vast majority of Android devices using OS 2.3 or later"
And the kick in the nuts from their Play Store product description:
"NOT ALL ANDROID SMARTPHONES HAVE BEEN TESTED WITH THE APP. MANY ARE NOT COMPATIBLE WITH THE BRINGGO NAV APP, including popular phone models offered by various service providers."
So in summary it is the vast majority of Android devices using 2.3 or later except for any poplular model on the market. That would be a little bit like Apple coming out with a great new feature in their OS but it you have to be using an old Apple IIc to use it.... WTF?

A new Android app was released today that removed the downloading restriction for most Android devices. Only devices that have failed compatibility testing are restricted from downloading the app. Please refer to the app description for more information.
