Not an area I have paid attention to, but your car will be traveling by train, I believe the autocar carrier will be switched to a railway that serves your area, possibly union-pacific (I believe they go to Albuquerque). It takes several days to get there, then once unloadrf at least two days for the dispatcher to arrange for a truck to take it to the dealer, then after those two or more days however many hours or days to actually get to the dealer.
The dealer can get the rail autocar number and track the progress of the autocar which has your car.
There is more detailed info, and I posted it somewhere on this site, but I can not off hand remember where. If I figure it out I will post the link in a new reply.
This is what I remember for the moment. Not much I know, but getting the dealer to give you the railway autocar number is a necessary first step. Once you have that there are steps you can take to track, I just can not remember them now.
