Per my answer in another thread, there is a TPW which should be 2/13 or 2/20 and cars are almost always assembled in the week projected. After 3400 comes 3800, vehicle is assembled and ready for shipping, and 3800 gives you your VIN. Your car may already be assembled and gmconnects usually gives you that info the next day.

I know, a little frustrating
at this point, but I'm trying to remain patient:sadbanana: One of the guys at the dealership who seems to be willing to share a little more information than most of the sales guys, looked my car up yesterday by the VIN and said the estimated delivery date is Feb 28, so at least there's an estimated delivery date......now whether that really happens.....your guess is as good as mine.....

My dealer said it was supposed to ship railway to a local rail yard then truck to the dealer. Maybe this interm transfer means it's at the rail yard??? Fingers crossed!

Yeah, I think you're right. According to my dealer, mine will be rail shipped to AZ, then trucked to the dealer. I asked my sales rep for a rail car tracking number......and he said he'd get back to me.....at this point, I'm not holding my breath
I'm certain that my car may be sitting on or near a rail car somewhere in North America, but that's about all I'm certain about at this point

4300 Interim Transfer means what the dealers are saying. On a rail autocar some where in these United States. Once it gets to its destinatation rail yard and is off loaded it takes at least two days to get dispatch to assign a truck, then however many days for the carrier to make its rounds from dealer to dealer until it reaches your dealer.
Status 3300 is parts are being assembled from around the plant and its suppliers. You are close but no cigar, which is 3400, at which stage a target production week is announced, and the TPW is one to two weeks after the 3400 date. The vehicle is almost always assembled during that week - 00% certainty. But from 3300 to 3400 can be a day or a week or more, the time is very parts availability dependent.

I do not think DVN had a quality hold even though he had two 4B00s but more than two usually means a QC Hold. Everytime dispatch checks the VIN a 4B00 will show up so it can be a little confusing.

Just came back from the dealership tonight... ordered an Inferno Orange LTZ 6-Speed 1.4L Turbo w/ Sunroof, Mudflaps and Lifetime XM for the wife. She's very excited... looking forward to going through the ordering process. Never ordered a car like this before, but the closest vehicle in this config is in Oklahoma! (A ways away!)

01/27/2012 (2000) Order accepted by GM. Dealer used allocation to place order into production.

01/27/2012 (3000) Order accepted by production control. Parts being ordered and production process is underway.

There is a chance that the server both GMConnects and the Chevy dealers use to get status update is down until 2/21/2012 per what I have gleaned, so progress updates may not be available until early next week.

My dealer noted their system was down when I talked to them yesterday and let em know I had the window sticker. So just a little confirmation for you.
