Can't sign in
Well, it downloaded to my Motorola Droid 2 and installed, but I am unable to run it due to not getting a verification email and therefore it tells me I have entered an invalid email address when I try to sign in.
So I guess I have to wait for an un-determined amount of time for a verification email to show up? I expected this email to show up in a matter of seconds, but obviously that's not how it works. So does it take hours, days, weeks, or is there some other problem?

Thanks for the reply. Looks like something is broke with their app. The "Check" button doesn't actually work, so I have to wonder why that is even on the screen?!
But the first time when I 'created a new account' and clicked the sign in button, it said a verification email was sent, which of course was wrong as I never received one. (Just great.)
This app crash and burns my phone every time I try to use it. I removed it.
Well, maybe it's a good thing I can't get an account created then. It's only $.99 wasted.

The RAZR MAXX works perfect. It takes forever to load everything... I would have tried to see what it looks like on the MyLink, but since the dealer bricked my radio trying to update it, I won't. I'm not digging GMs attempt at Car Tech Integration. Emphasis on attempt.

downloaded on a verizon droid 4 today. So far it appears to work. I only did a short trip to the store and back though. Took me a few minutes to figure out how to get the ladies voice louder.. And their is a long delay from when it pauses my music to when it says what the next direction is..but so far I like it.

I received a text today from Bringgo (or the google play store) providing me a link to update my Bringgo (USA/Canada) app.
Since everything has been working perfectly for me since I installed it several weeks ago (on my Droid Bionic phone through verizon)....I'm just going to ignore the update for now.

Downloaded it last night to my Verizon Galaxy S3 (yes, the S3 is compatible with the new update.) Big download --- program from the Playstore, 89Mb, Base Map component (which you download from within the app, not the Playstore), 583 Mb, and then th maps for 4 states I drive in the NE, about 150Mb.
The activation email came almost instantly. No problems there. Used Bringgo on my errands this morning, and it worked great through Mylink. I had an audiobook playing through the Audible app via bluetooth, and it paused it appropriately for the turn by turn directions. The voice, though, speaks slower than on my Garmin or Google Nav, and there are two or three pre-turn voice prompts, so a lot of interruptions. You can turn the voice prompt off, though, from the main nav screen. I'm downloading the user manual from the Bringgo site now, and expect that after reading it, I'll have a better handle on the options.
Overall, seems to be working pretty well, and I do like having the bigger map for nav in the middle of the dash.

I have to ask, did you simply buy the app and install it? And the activation email just magically came to you? Or did you press that "Check" button when the app comes up while you go to the link inside it to create a new account?
I've been unable to create an account or get any kind of verification email sent to me. The 'check' button does nothing. It's like it's grayed out and doesn't actually press. So I'm wondering what the heck it takes to actually create an account!
Does anyone know of a different way to create an account online somewhere? Or how the heck do you get it to send you a verification email???
I sent a 'feedback' message yesterday on the BringGo website, because I couldn't find an actual "support" site or link. So I don't know for sure how to even contact them with a problem like this.

It sounds like your verification email got screwed up ... either lost in transit or in your spam folder. Hopefully Bringgo will be able to get this sorted out on Monday.

Thanks rgdave. Yeah, something is definitely screwed up with their app or their system. I did exactly what you explained. I entered my info on the sign in screen and clicked the 'create account'. It then takes me to a license agreement page which I check the box to agree and then it takes me to a screen to enter my email again with the password and a verify password box. After that, there's only the "check" box to click or a "sign in" box. The "check" doesn't do anything. When I click "sign in" it tells me I may have entered an incorrect email address. (As if I didn't know it was invalid since they won't let me create a damn account.)
I've deleted the data from the app and uninstalled it and then reinstalled. But the process has been a complete failure. I'm not running "spam" protection, so the problem is on their end not sending the email.
I find it incredible that they don't even have a foolproof way to create an account or an actual LINK to click on to request the email verification message. This is the most basic step required from your potential customers for crying out loud. You should be able to do this from their website.

Check your spam box that's where my conf. Email was.
I appreciate the advice, but I don't have a spam box to check. If it was sent, I would have received it. What's frustrating though is that there should be an easy way to request another verification message or to create an account.

Doubtful. I think you missed their leaked internal memo. It seems they are trying to get this working for all Android devices EXCEPT POPULAR MODELS.... Go pick up a pile of crap Huwaei Android device from a Cricket/Metro PCS store and it'll probably fire right up.

Downloaded and working on my stock Nexus 4 on AT&T. Haven't had the MyLink update yet, but I'll be in for my first oil change in about two weeks so I'll have them do it then. I'm hoping for good things; my salesman is the infotainment guru at the dealer and knew about BringGo and the future update.
