I'm wondering why bringo can't store their map data on the SD card? Lots of decent apps are able to....would seriously increase the amount of phones that would be "compatible" and with new phones like the samsung galaxy s4 being a 16 gb phone with only 10gb available on the internal memory, it makes sense to be able to store the data on the plentiful up to 64gb of storage sd card. It's a few lines of code....which would be easy to implement. Just curious bringo, gimme a good reason.

Lost turn by turn volume in My Link...
Somewhere around the 1.05 (Android...paid version) update it seems I have lost the volume of the turn by turn directions in My Link. Works fine on the phone however.
Have double-checked the settings in both the phone and My Link, nothing is muted, unpaired and repaired the phone, choose a different voice, uninstalled/re-installed the app on the phone and nada...My Link works fine otherwise.
Any feedback is appreciated.

The forum search is your friend! I found the resolution a few pages back:
"Apparently their is a third volume source.....which is for bluetooth. While the lady (it's a female voice) was giving the turn by turn instructions I increased the volume on the phone and a little bluetooth volume bar popped up in which I was able to increase the volume of the bluetooth connection. Now the turn by turn instructions are nice and loud."
Ugh...this was giving me a headache. LOL

I had the same volume issue. I went through all of my phone settings and the MyLink settings over and over and could not get voice commands to work. The radio would cut out in order for the voice command to come through but I never heard anything. It was not until I used Pandora through Bluetooth that I discovered a way to increase the Bluetooth volume. I thought I was going to blow my speakers when I returned to the Bringgo app and the first turn command came on. I had to go back to the Bringgo settings and turn down the voice command volume to 50%. That seems to be a good setting for voice commands and still have Bluetooth volume setting high enough for good sound for Pandora. I hope that this helps and makes sense.

That didn't work for me.

Try using Pandora app via Bluetooth. Once it is playing through the car speakers, adjust the volume on your phone. That is the only way I have been able to adjust my Bluetooth volume. I have the phone Bluetooth volume at maximum. Once I had the Bluetooth volume turned up on the phone, I went back to the Bringgo app and reduced the route guidance volume to about 50%.

I'm assuming the traffic updates are working for folks who purchased the full version? For reasons beyond me I can't get them to refresh (although I see traffic updates with a timestamp of 5/4 @5:29am I didn't purchase the full version until 5/5.) Requests for support from the developer have gone unnoticed unfortunately.

Hit or miss for me. Drove into Philly on Monday night and sat on the Schuylkill Expressway at the Conshohocken curve. No traffic update at all, and it's ALWAYS backed up there in the evening.

I must say I'm disappointed with BringGo. The entire experience feels very dated. It's not intuitive and pales in comparison to Google or Apple maps. Also, I spent FOUR hours at the dealership yesterday while they updated my radio.

Feeling the same here.
On a positive note I saw some updated hardware lists on their website. Seems their unapproved hardware list is now up to 19 pages long. The approved list hasn't changed. Same 19 devices.
Any response from Bringgo or Chevy? (hears crickets....)

I am quite happy with BringGo now that I got it to download to my untested therefore unapproved device. But my experience using mobile navigation is limited nevertheless so far it is working well for me.
It was the getting that was the frustration and not the using once gotten.

Obviously nothing at this point. Am thinking Bringgo and Chevy are burying their head in the sand in the hopes that remaining problems and inconvenienced users will just go away. I would like to not have to spoof my device ID to get it to work and update since this can cause issues with other items too.

Of course a lot of those look like tablets and some of the product names look like device ID information captured from testing, not necessarily an actual brand of a device. But there are devices that are not on that list that are still blocked from downloading the app. Devices that meet the memory and software requirements that Bringgo lists.
I'd be happy if they just stopped advertising this as compatible with a majority of Android device. 19 is not a majority.
It works on my Galaxy IIs... though it says it isn't an approved device. The voice has a bit of a delay when it barks in over the radio/XM.... I'll buy it for basic convenience once they get my Mylink to quit going haywire. It's no where near as nice as Google Maps, that's for sure. Too bad they just don't do a Google Maps port from a persons android/ios device and everything would be swell

Only have a Galaxy S2 but I'm running 4.1.2 and BringGo works fine for me.
Any S3 owners out there having issues with BringGo? Or S4 owners even? Not sure if I want to take a chance on upgrading.

New '13 RS manual... got the BringGo, works great... Dealer had to download newest program to get it to see BringGo and Tune In Radio... Now all good and works awesome!!
