Sooooo....
I've been practicing the 1/4 using the simulation on the chassis dyno at school. If the weather holds up here in Southeast Kansas, I'll go to the track tonight and see what my Sonic can do.
The only thing done to the car is a Trifecta tune. Everything else is stock.
For grins, here's a scan of one of my HP pulls with the tune. I didn't print out any of the 1/4 mile sims.
The printer on the dyno sucks. T=176 and HP=140. The fan at school also sucks, so the intercooler would heat up pretty fast.

My best with just the budget tune was 15.400

You had other mods, as well as tires too. I believe theenico says he only has the tune. correct me if I am wrong.

There is also the Sonic launch learning curve. If I think about how differently I launch now, I think I could have done better than 15.44 back then.
I think Nico should pick it up quick with technique. The key seems to be that wheel slipping off the line gets the 60' times down.
