I didn't notice any extra vibration, but the gear rattles are ridiculous at unloaded cruise coasting. And the clutch chatter is very audible as well.
One time in neutral, at a stop light my wife was leaning out the window staring at the sky.... Come to find out she thought there was a helicopter in close proximity.
Hardly functional.

I guess I should post an update. Pistons and rods are in limbo. Dave at DDMW is trying to work with Carrillo and K1 to build the rods. Either will do the pistons but getting them to do a small batch of forged rods is a little harder.
But with these upgraded internals the engine will gladly take 3-400hp abuse.

I'm sure it will. After digging through hours of M32 discussions on the Vauxhall forums, my conclusion is that these things are more vulnerable to heat than excessive power.
Now as far a shifting under such extreme power loads, well we'll just have to see. There are companies that offer straight cut gear kits, but for $4000, I'm not ready to make that commitment.
At least not now.... If it's unavoidable to make real use of all this engine work, then I may not have a choice.

Just standard aftermarket forged rods.
Here is an interesting/funny fact.... The manufacturers crack the bottom, or big end of forged rods in half as opposed to cutting them and machining them to create the crank cradle that bolts to the rod. Cutting them would weaken the forged micro-structures of the carbon in the metal.
The funny part is that the aftermarket has adopted the term "crack rods" to identify rods that have been built this way.
So I guess you could saw I am fiending to score some crack rods.

Did you know many motorcycle rods are 1 piece and must be pressed off the crank?
Now the curious fact, usually the crank will bend before the rod goes thru the block........... just saying
