You did not have the right omni. The glh and glhs were the two to own. They were total beasts. I had a glh it was fun and went a lot faster than 85... I'm pretty sure the turbo dodge stuff was the fastest sedan you could buy. Topping Bmw Mercedes and all of everything
The 80's Turbo Dodges can be made crazy nuts in general. About 8 years ago I worked at an oil change in high school and that was the big thing to build there cuz it was cheap and parts were plentiful. I never had one due to owning my '76 Camaro but we did have guys in the shop owning a turbo Spirit, Daytona Shelby Z at 300 hp, and a Shelby Charger than ran a consistent 12.8-12.9 at our local track. And for some reason all of those had had at least 1 if not 2 or 3 GLH's at home to steal parts from hahaha those were fun days.... Another guy also had a turbo Geo Metro with the turbo from a Suzuki Swift, but that car was still slow as balls lol
