Just spoke to Dave. There were too many issues to make the cast mani work. In order to get the turbo location right, an extension would need to be added to the collector on the stock mani. And once you start adding steel to a cast iron set-up beyond just adding a flange, it just starts to make more sense to build an entire manifold out of SS.
So he has a quantity of header flanges being fabbed as we speak. Everything else is mocked up.
With the holidays coming up, I'm guessing things won't be buttoned up til early to mid January. But with a lot of other family-oriented obstacles shouldering my stress loads, I'm full of patience for the turbo project at this time.
I'll keep the updates coming.

I got enough to make my head spin at work to not let it bother me too much.
I may see if the body shop can repair it with fiberglass, and just paint them white up to the mid body line like I had originally planned.
Otherwise I'll prolly just buy another set. I could've made my own flares by mutilating my stock fenders, but I traded one to DDMW for parts credit.
I'll post pics soon. Its not annihilated, but as a car lover, all I will think about is "everyone's staring at my cracked fender" when I drive. And it'll bug the ish out of me.

Those fenders would look 10x worse with that flush if I was driving............ After a month of driving, or a day of aggressive driving,no lie.
Pre glad to see it wasn't that bad. Trim er up and ignore it.

I vote for painting the fenders as well. Maybe mask of a section for carbon fiber stripes if you still really want to see that carbon fiber.

It'll do for now. I could have spent more than 3 minutes to line the CF pattern up more seamlessly, but I just don't care right now. Worked 16 hours thursday, got home at 11:30pm and headed back to work at 4:30am friday.
Honestly, I think I'll buy another pair of CF and just hang on to them until I do the turbo swap. I'll be taking the bumper off to swap in the Griffin intercooler at that point, so no sense it removing the bumper twice.

I agree with rdss nice fix! I have a question pre if you don't mind. I got the seibon vented hood for xmas and my bf thinks installing the hood in the winter is a bad idea. Will the cf hold up in 0 degree weather or should I wait?

Carbon fiber is fine in cold temperature. The only concern would be extra rock chips from the salt/sand cities put down, but it should be fine.
