Took a little time to figure how to keep the reverse lock out to work properly and I couldn't put the new knobs bottom trim piece on, however not to bad and its long enough to now use the armrest and shift.
With that said this isn't the best shifter for sporty driving and might go onto my Automatic drag race inspired Formula where you move it to drive and stab the gas.

Black spacer cap included with knob kit, is actually put on after the threaded/pin on collar, the collar is tapered smaller at the base:
Some Adjustment is needed and its best to install the new knob and tighten down the black hex screws with the vehicle in reverse (not running of course) to make sure the reverse lock out can be raised high enough to allow you into reverse.
