I'm not sure about Curt but I was told that Hidden Hitch and Draw tight are made by the same company.

Thanks for the information. I am going to install a Hitch for my bike as well. Do you recomend any type of bike rack? I have always had a truck so never used a rack before.

Can anyone explain to me the purpose of putting a trailer hitch on a car? Much less a sub-compact like the Sonic...
Don't get me wrong, I love towing stuff. I don't always tough stuff around, but when I do, I use my dad's truck. (little Dos Equis joke there for you)
IMO, if you need to tow stuff, get a truck.
In terms of bike racks, they make racks that don't need a hitch.
I can't help but laugh and be confused when people put trailer hitches on cars.

Not rear-mounted racks. (that I've seen, at least)
I, for one, will be adding a hitch not only for a bike rack when going cross-state to do some biking, but also to add a cargo rack for long trips.
Also keep in mind that while he is kneeling, the back of the car is also elevated due to the wheels ramps. So it won't be NEARLY as visible as it is in the picture.

I for one cannot afford a truck..period..even used. you cant find a truck around here in Kansas that is in clean shape and low miles for much less than 20,000. The insurance companies don't seem to like insuring a 24 year old either. haha
I would like to put a hitch on mine to pull a small 5X8 teardrop camper that weighs 500lb and a 5x8 utility trailer just in case I need to grab a sheet of plywood from the lumber yard. maybe even a bike rack. Nothing big or very often. I just cant justify the extra cost of a truck right now. although I would love to have one someday

Umm, to carry my bikes. (Please see avatar.) With a hitch mounted rack, I don't have anything touching my paint or have to lift bikes up to a roof rack and risk scratches along the way. Just my preference. Is that OK?
