Hello,
First MPF is awesome, this mod was easy and it has made my Sonic more consistent I the way it makes power. Don't know if it is making more power, but before the mod I would sometime jump on my sonic and it would scoot on down the road. Other times I would jump on it and... not so much.
Anyhoo what I did was to pop the green striped hose off the solenoid, NOT the manifold and connect it to the other line I took off the solenoid. I put caps on both connections on the solenoid and squeeze clamps on the hose connections.

I finally did this mod, I yanked the hose off the intake port and yanked the hose from the bpv off the splitter module and just connected the bpv to the intake port and didn't even block off the electronic device, so far no codes and runs fine.
Did this mod recently and now have a couple hundred miles on it. It was worth it just for the way it improves shifting. The car now acts like a proper MT should.
it could also just be that my j-fitting isn't fooling the sensor anymore for some reason. Thanks!
