Another way to bypass the bypass?

First MPF is awesome, this mod was easy and it has made my Sonic more consistent I the way it makes power. Don't know if it is making more power, but before the mod I would sometime jump on my sonic and it would scoot on down the road. Other times I would jump on it and... not so much.
Anyhoo what I did was to pop the green striped hose off the solenoid, NOT the manifold and connect it to the other line I took off the solenoid. I put caps on both connections on the solenoid and squeeze clamps on the hose connections.

I finish doing this mod last night must say I agree worth it
Go ahead and block off the solenoid. It can/will cycle and cause an air leak.

Is the oil disappearing from the charger tubes, intercooler, lower pipes etc. A good thing?

Did this mod recently and now have a couple hundred miles on it. It was worth it just for the way it improves shifting. The car now acts like a proper MT should.
Also agree with those who comment on the decrease in "turbo lag" effect.
Considering the "cost" of this mod, I don't think you can do anything to make the car drive more pleasantly.
Thanks MPFab for this very nice little upgrade. I have your intake and it is by far the most attractive item in my engine bay, plus the car sounds and runs wonderfully with it.

Not sure I've posted in here or not, think it was another thread.
I feel like it pulls harder over 4k than stock and I definitely notice the power not falling off between shifts (6MT) which is probably the best part of this. For the $10 I spent on 6ft of tubing and a hose connector assortment pack, this is a great cheap mod!

3"-4" of 1/8" or 5/32" vac. hose
Either will work. 1/8" will take more effort to get on the intake manifold, but this also means less chance of it blowing off since the intake manifold fitting isn't barbed.
