Ported the manifold and it went well. Only needed to order some new fuel injection harnesses in order to replace the retainer clips that were lost during the reassembling process. Throwing a few codes but they all seem to be related to the injector harnesses being loose causing some misfires and running lean codes. Hope to have this fixed soon so I can enjoy that new tune.

No pretty sure they are considering the harnesses keep popping off without the clips and I'm getting misfires

Yeah. There are two retaining clips, the clip that holds the fuel injector to the fuel rail is unnecessary but the clip that holds the electrical connector on to the injector is very necessary

I have some new injectors coming from ZZP's ebay store and hopefully those clips will match ours cause the ones I grabbed off a V8 Crown Victorian at my local u-pull-it didn't fit our injectors. The difference with the manifold ported is huge though, the throttle response is almost what I'd expect from a mustang or vette.

Awesome news, just received my Ev1 injector clips and they fit !! Started up the car and presto rpms stable, no codes, and she sounds great, can't wait to open her up and really see what the ported manifold differences are.

Still waiting to hear about the tune, although, wasn't going to install it until after being was sure the car was running properly.

Had a blast on a highway entrance ramp today... Threw it into 4th and before it hit 5k rpm I was at 19 psi and heard a sudden release of pressure while still on the throttle. Went to my destination checked under the hood and found the vacuum hose had popped off the manifold intake. Easy fix though just threw a 4" zip tie around the tube reattached and tightened. I can't say enough about the preformance of this car after porting the manifold, it drives way above its stock class, even smoother than audis.

Ordered some winter tires from tire rack. Bridgestome Blizzak Ws70, has anyone had their dealer install new tires,not sure what to expect such as pricing or are tire changes covered under warranty?

Hi I'm 90% sure tire changes are not covered under warranty I bought my summer tires and wheels from the dealership because I got a 100$ back by mail on 4 tires I couldn't find the paperwork on how much it costs but I'm pretty sure I got charged 10$ per tire for mount and balance don't quote me on that hope this helps a little Reese Lightning nice car by the way keep up the good work
