In my state, they just use it a reason to pull you over and run your info.
Have you looked into your state laws. Mine is that the light emitted has to be visible from x amount of feet away.
If that's the case you could swap in Brighter bulbs. You Would would have to go to court to prove this, but it would get you out of a ticket.

Our law is such BS here, that statute make any sort of coverings illegal because it hampers the effectiveness of the REFLECTORS in the light housings, having no care for the actual brightness of the light.
So stupid.

Hi all, been away and forced to live in the real world a bit, so I thought I'd check in and I'm really liking what I'm seeing!
Anywho, I just got the updated tune from Trifecta but haven't had time to load and don't know anything about it. Can someone tell me what's up? I even went to Tri's site to see what's up and their site blows!
When I first bought, your choices consisted of full or budget and now there are multiple flavors from what I read on BNR, what gives? One thing I'm curious about is, if I bought the FULL tune initially a year ago(the highest price option for those of you playing along at home), so does that mean the latest revision that I just got is the best of the best of what's offered?

Their site does suck. They removed select a tune and added a thing that "predicts" your driving and dynamically tunes from my understanding.
I dont have it btw just been reading about it because I was considering looking at it for my wife's encore.
If I die, bury me in my truck, because it's never been in a hole it can't get out of!

So, I installed the updated Trifecta tune yesterday and did around sixty miles to give it a whirl. First impressions, me likey. The first thing I noticed before making it a block is that the throttle response is absolutely crazy in a good way. 100% dig on it from a race car point of view, but it's such a drastic change that it'll take some right foot relearning to get acclimated to stay at 30-35mph zones. The way I see it, that's also a good thing. I mean, seriously, how often do you get to experience the feel of "newness" out of a car you've already banked 40K+ miles on? How fun in my opinion. I live in the frozen tundra where a long stretch of dry road absent of Sunday drivers can be hard to find, but so far I like what I feel~!!!

Merry Christmas to everyone, hopefully you all get the mods you wanted from Santa!!
Also, to all those on the edge of the rabbit hole, contemplating whether to take the red pill and wake up in bed like nothing happened or take the blue and see how far the rabbit hole goes.... I just flipped 44K miles yesterday, about 25K being fairly well modded, without even the smallest of glitch in the matrix!!
So, what pill are you gonna take???

Gotta say, I love all your work Hulty. I don't have a sonic yet but omg, Ive wanted one for a while. Seeing your mods makes me want one even more.
Im practicing mods on my current car (A 'seen-better-days' 2001 Saturn sc1) and I am just wondering what kind of dynamat you used?
