FYI, the Ultragauge DOES provide IAT temp as one of the displays, so you can monitor this in real time, will think about it if I ever have time to mess with the car again

Actually the iat is pre turbo at the maf. So no you wouldn't be able to see post intercooler temps via ug unless something has changed.

My mis-conception then, thanks for the clarification. I thought I also saw an IAT2 reading, will have to go play with the thing at lunch and see what I can find.

I can't ever see using the rear wiper period. That's why I got rid of mine long ago.

It's because you live in Cali. It's indispensable in the winter in areas with snow/salt on the roads.

what are u guys spraying the intercooler with? i plan on using this while staging, my last time at the track my car was up to almost 220 with the staging lane being in the the sun. i could just run straight washer fluid correct?

Wanted to update everyone on this mod, I tested it this weekend for a two day autoX event... Worked flawlessly, kept everything nice and cool, I recommend everyone buying a turbo blanket! Holy crap these things keep the bay wayyyy to hot! Took 1st in both classes I can run my car in... Out of 8 cars... Haha, needless to say, body roll is an issue! Happy racing

A turbo blanket? Never heard of one. Google pulled them up but which one?

Woo this is one of my first post, been a while, but I run new sprayers, all metal set up, and I run isoptric rubbing alcohol because it evaporates fastest. Water works fine though, here is and updated pic of my set up...

Hope the link works. Used 1 in a V8 s10 years back. Its a windshield washer bag system. Before the internet things such as this were sourced thru jc whitney on the cheap.
