If you read back through this thread, I have been one of the Bringgo BETA testers for over a year now (basically anyone using Bringgo is a BETA tester). I have Bringgo with my Sonic + Galaxy 4s, PLUS now have a Cruze Eco with the navigation that works.
So I'll ask again, as it "pertains to me", "What update?"

I checked my version. I downloaded it about 2 months ago. It's still working, if you can call it that, but never asked me for an update or anything.

I use it, but it's a pain to get it working right. Mainly;
1. No matter what I do, or what I set, the Voice Volume is inconsistent. Sometimes it's the perfect volume when interrupting the music, other times it's dead silence when it interrupts. I usually have to disconnect it and stop it on the phone, Adjust volume at the phone first, THEN re-start app on the Radio.
2. Setting up a route is not user friendly with some methods, but easier with others. It's easiest to just use google voice and saying the right address.
3. To save a route, you have to go through edit? Whole system could be made friendlier.
4. Too many times I've gone past turns because the voice isn't planning ahead. That's when the voice is even working. At least the visuals usually warn me in advance with a "Distance to go" That's a great feature.
Main pain is having voice work, then not. I pulled over yesterday and tried for 10 minutes to get the voice back, even with a bluetooth volume app. Kids started whining so I finally gave up and just went by visuals with sporadic silence in my music where the voice SHOULD have been.
I can't find any consistency in setting BringGo up, so voice works right each time.
Above shows the version I have. I don't know if any, or all of it is the current version. I haven't been prompted to upgrade or pay.
If this isn't the newest version, and the newer version is just as bad with the issues I have with the current version, I don't see why I'd want to even attempt the upgrade and pay for the same ole problems. I'll save my money and use it "As-Is".
Do others have similar issues and notice them resolved in a never version, if there is one?

it was the same for me. Always crashed when downloading maps.
My solution for it to work under iOS8 is to actually install 7.1.2, then install Bringo, THEN update to ios8. That seemed to worked for me. When I get the iPhone 6+ if the app hasn't updated ill be downgrading just to install it, then updating back to ios 8.

There are two problems with this idea.
1. It is not possible to install the non-newest-official iOS version (except jailbreak which is not yet availble for iOS8 and it won't be for at least couple of months)
2. First iOS version that supports iPhone 6 is... iOS 8. So I wish you good luck installing iOS 7 on iPhone 6+
But it should work of you restore your backup on new iPhone.

But it should work of you restore your backup on new iPhone.
Confused at your comment, IOS 8 is out I downloaded yesterday. I have not tested BrinGo on it yet but truthfully I don't care BrinGo is terrible. Glad I only spent $50 on it it.

For some reason i cant get it to download the map data.. ive left my phone go all night and still nothing. It gives me an error 99.
Purchased our Sonic and Bringgo in September. Downloaded 8.01 a couple of weeks later...and Bringgo started acting up. A week later IOS 8.1, arrived and bingo...Bringgo now works again. I find it easier to run the Bringgo app first on phone before tethering my phone to Mylink. Then I have no problem with the app and the destination is already programed.
I also try to set up my destination before paring to MyLink. So far I haven't had any issue with this software but I have noticed that the maps haven't been updated since last year. I'm using a Moto G with kitkat (4.4) I'm afraid to go to 5.0 with this software so I might just dedicate this phone to my car. I use a Nokia Lumia Windows Phone which has a really nice offline GPS mapping system called HERE Maps as my main phone anyway so I always have that with me in case BringGo messes up. Like others have said though I wish they could have not reinvented the wheel and just used a proven good system (Google Maps, HERE maps, Waze etc) at the very least at this point if updates are finished than at least reduce the price of the app significantly. Overall though this is a very good way to get NAV systems into budget cars for cheap.

good evening... does yours still work?? I have I-phone 5S, no upgrade, version 7.1.2
do I need to upgrade to version 8.1.1
I also think it works pretty well. the traffic feature is awesome.

Ever get the Data? I had problems at first, but once I connected it to WiFi at home, I was able to get everything.
I also found that if you set it up BEFORE syncing it to the car it has far less trouble. When I was trying to do it through the Mylink, it would ignore the settings I put in or I'd have to shut it down and turn it back on for the settings to take effect. ESPECIALLY the bluetooth volume.
I still have an older version and I don't dare upgrade. I only use if once in a while, but once I set it up, THEN sync it with MyLink, the version I have does everything I need. Only problem is the voice is late saying when and where to make the next turn, so I missed a lot of turns before I decided to just go by the displayed turns instead.

Yep i got it working now. Works pretty good now, yeah the voice lags but aslong as you dont depend on voice you will be alright.

I had some issues like that after upgrading to iOS 8 myself. It took a few attempts to get the maps downloading without it crashing. If they didn't complete successfully the app would crash over and over until I removed it and reinstall it. So if you haven't tried reinstalling it yet, that would be my first recommendation.
