They're grrrrrreat!

They still have a little bit of a blue tint and since they aren't in a projector beam they don't seem as bright as HIDs, but they work great.

Front LED Turn Signal Lights help please!!

Ok so i a pair of 6 ohm resistors from V-Leds, and i have a set of LED bulbs. Originally i tried installing just the bulbs, then i got the error and hyperflashing, so i read your forum and bought the resistors. So i install the resistors, i connect both grounds to the frame of the car with a screw, then run both of the resistors opposing wires to the left and right turn signal lights, i then connect them with the blue clips that come with the resistors. i test the turn signal lights with the LED bulbs and i still get the hyper flashing and error. idk what im doing wrong.....ive attached pictures....ughhhhh! help please.

never mind i got it to work, turns out its the center wire that needs to be clipped not the side wires.

Only the turn signal bulbs need resistors, all the others work fine without one. The only reason you need resistors for the turn signals is because they have a fault mode to make you aware of burned out bulbs, the other lights do not.

this can by bypassed with a different flasher, correct?

Nope. The BCM itself controls the flashing, not a separate flasher unit.

To be honest, they're basically the same. The Southern Stars are a tiny bit bluer than the Northern Stars, but I wanted to go as white as possible, so I got the Northern Stars. I'll try to get a few photos of the Northern Stars tomorrow night.

Here are a few photos of the Northern Stars. They actually appear a little more blue in person, but this is pretty close. Sorry about the poor quality, all I've got is my iPhone and it's not the best at night.

Replacing the headlamp bulbs is pretty easy. Just unscrew the caps on the back of the headlamps assembly, use your finger to detach the wiring connector from the bulb then unscrew the bulb and replace in reverse. Be sure not to tough the glass part of the bulb.

There's actually a guide in the owner's manual if you need a visual.

The reverse bulbs are 19-LED and are a bit brighter than the stock incandescent bulbs. They ain't cheap at $50/pair, but they are great bulbs.
