Fuk how come when you need your cel to stay on it turns off by itself? I am taking it to the dealership to get it checked out (p0171) and I can't get it to turn back on. I have been trying to recreate it haha. Gonna be pissed if they say nothing is wrong just because the light isn't on. Fml

Some relief, they were able to see the code and have determined it is the gasket under the valve cover. They are replacing it under the power train warranty. Anyone who constantly see the lean code I strongly suggest take it in and get your valve cover replaced! I hope this fixes the problem for good or for at least another 38k miles.

Just had mine replaced this past weekend. I think last Friday's dyno session didn't help it!

It wouldn't idle right when we were done. Blew out the pcv valve. I need to get back on the dyno!

Wondering if the Bosch #42 injectors would help with this. I've read (I think) on hear that it's one of things they help with. Part of what sold me on getting them.

I have heard that too and I have been looking into changing to 42lbs but I have hit a wall. I guess trifecta no longer sells retunes for $70 so if I bought bigger injectors I would have to pay $200 for a new tune. And if I wanted to run e85, that requires another tune and probably another $200. I'm not sure if this effects just trifecta through bnr or all of trifecta. This will have to wait because I have other things in the works for my sonic. Just can't spend $250 for injectors then $200-$400 in tunes.

Hmmm. Last month DDM offered me the upgrade from "Full Tune" to Elite for $90. Hard to know what I'd get so I haven't jumped on it. Maybe I should before that deal goes away! You've got a nice car and a nice hubby to be it sounds like. Spoiling you with car goodies. Very cool

I have a full tune and cable so they consider me advantage plus. Basically I pay for a new tune minus the cost of a cable because I already have one which is around $200. If I would have upgraded injectors a year or year and a half ago, it would have cost a lot less like $295. Now that trifecta has changed and offers elite they are charging a lot more.

Trying to put back on my bbs wheels: does anyone have the torque spec/instructions for motorsport tech adapters? I'm not sure what the torque spec to mount the adapter to the hub is. We did 87 ft lbs but if anyone has the paper from motorsport tech I would love a copy. Hope my wheels don't fall off on my drive to vacation haha

Super dirty, I know. But I have had the seibon carbon fiber hatch and spoilers on for a little time now. I like it all so far. If I do ever get tired of the Thailand spoiler I can remove it, just held on with 3m tape. Had the spoilers painted gloss black to better match the carbon fiber. I am finally at a point where I am completely happy with my sonic. For once I don't have a to do list of mods. I have one last thing in the works though, something I have always wanted to do
