Oil pump is crank driven im sure it could be shimmed. But what's your issue with it?

Hope you got a 50trim with a 50 A/R with the stage 3 wheel. If not spooling won't be where you need. It's more of a top end turbo.


But Be carful with the China made turbos they tend not to last very long.

Behind the block is the oil pressure sensor take it out put the "T" then reinstall the sensor use a -3 line you may or may not need a restrictor

Some turbos require it depending on oil pressure too much oil or too little oil will kill your turbo

Don't need a restrictor on a K03. Did you buy it from Chris? If so it came with the oil housing for the vxr you will just need the oil feed lines from the oem vxr
Or may be the ones from a 1.4 will work

Don't do the .42/63 on a 1.8 go with a .48/50 with the stage 3 wheel that way you have room to grow. Also use a restrictor on that turbo -3 or a -4 with a restrictor.

A 60/63 is bigger spools later and is good till 390 400hp.

The 48/50 spools sooner and supports 300 to 350hp

Your going to need the oil filter housing then to make it work on the 1.8
