Most do it themselves, however a shop will charge around 3-4 hours of labor is best guess. Meaning $200-$350 install cost.

Don't you have to compress the spring and remove the strut with an impact gun

It is pretty easy with a basic arrangement of tools (impact, wrenches, torqs, sockets) and a good spring compressor.. Going off of Preloaders advice taking a 24mm socket and cutting it in half and welding a handle on it makes the frt struts easier since the torqs bit that holds the strut can be put thru the socket while it holds the nut.
I just talked to a local shop and they said they will charge me $50 to compress the frt struts and change out springs and bump stops..

O'Riellys will charge you around $40 for the tool. return the tool and you get your money back.

I have notreally looked at the struts yet, but does anyone that replaced their springs remember if the factory strut has slots that can be cut out for adjusting camber?
The Tokicos in my 98 Z24 came pre slotted. I prefer to use the full sized mounting bolts as opposed to the cam bolts.

Yeah I think there are parts stores that will rent the spring compressor tool for next to nothing. I have an electric impact wrench that should do the trick

Ordered the eibachs through Turbo Tech Racing, and I have had them on the car for 3 days now, and its a completely different car now...
But did anyone else have a problem with the top hat coming apart upon removal? I had to clean/repack the bearings on both front struts no matter how gentle I tried to be using both spring compressors and allowing the weight of the car to compress the spring and removing the retaining nut while the car was on the ground.

I am seeing this rear difference following lowering. Yours balanced out but I am seeing this stock difference following lowering.

Over 1.5 front and almost 2 rear when compared to LT.
I would not go lower on the front with just lowering coils. Maybe a little lower in the rear, say a quarter inch.
