I have nothing to add to this topic but about half way through reading all the posts here I started getting adds for various dating sites.

Now that I have finished reading them all I am getting adds to meet HOT ASIAN CHICKS IN MY AREA.

What's up with that. I don't visit porn sites or anything, is it something on this site that thinks I need a hot Asian chick to meet with real meat or something?

Ahaha I never see ads on SOF. But I paid for a membership to stop seeing ads. I do not use tapatalk, do you? But that is strange, I am not sure. I think the host site advertises in general because some words when I post are underlined by itself. Like they want you to click links to buy stuff. If you want an Asian I have some friends

Think I figured it out under your member name it says Asian Elite, this must tell google adds that I need to see dating services, prong enlarger pills, and to meet hot Asian chicks.

I've always had a big thing for cute Asian chicks {ah calls it ma Johnson} but at my age 62, and with my health problems, about all I can do is talk to them and look at them so it would be a waste of their time.

My wife wouldn't like it much anyway.

I called a Firestone Tire place today. They quote me $7 each to have tires dismounted from loose wheels. After putting the wheels in the hatch and driving to the place they are now telling me $10 each. Ahaha what how did the price change in 10mins? Is it because I'm a girl, do I have stupid on my face? I just want to send the wheels to PA to get them repainted before winter. Not that $3 each is a big deal but if the price is $10 each then just tell me that. Don't quote me a cheaper price then realize I'm a girl and jack up the prices. Sorry /rant

After the treatment at Firestone, I did not take my last two wheels to them. I drove a little farther away to a different tire place and had no problem at all. I called ahead, they quoted me $5 each and when I drove there, the price did not change. Actually they dismounted them for free! Closer is not always better, lesson learned lol. My winter wheels got beat up two winters ago and I would love to have them repainted. Right now they are gloss black but I am leaning towards a new color. I love a white car with deep red wheels like the picture.

If I could have afforded an FRS, it would have been white and probably eventually had red wheels. Anyway, I've got a (not-so-great) picture in my garage of the red Sparco's on my white car which might help your decision-making a little. I'm going to create a build thread soon with some better pictures of the overall car, but probably not in the time frame you are looking for.

Ahaha I looked at both the FRS and BRZ but I didn't want to do rwd as my daily. I've wanted red wheels for the RS from the beginning. My bbs wheels are black so I would love a different color for the winter. I almost need to get the colored wheels out of my system lol. I could totally hate it but at least I won't regret that I never did red wheels.

Stock RS wheels are sent off to PA to be painted red. I hope to install them in a few weeks before it starts snowing here. I have been shopping around for new center caps.

The charcoal center caps (pn 96682160) from the RS wheels are scratched up and the dealer wants to charge $37 each for new ones. They can be found on the internet for $20 each.

I compared my centers caps to some new Sparks and LT Sonics. Same size of 2 1/8 diameter even though different size wheels. I have seen brushed metal caps (pn 19303234) four for $17.

What I really want are the painted center caps from a Spark or something similar. I took a chance and bought one cap online for $20. The website describes it as silver sparkle painted (pn 9595095). If I like it, I'll just buy three more.

I was looking at doing red wheels on my LTZ, but I'm not 100% sold on colored wheels on a white car. Mine is currently white with the white LTZ wheels.

Maybe do a really dark red?

I've wanted colored wheels for the sonic since the beginning. I thought red wheeks would look cool against the snow in the winters. I am matching the wheels to the red ddm works parts in the engine.
