Why did you choose Sedan or Hatchback?

I like the tail lights better on the hatch back than on the sedan. I think they look more aggressive. I bought it because it looks like an angry squirrel to me, and I love it.

I like stripped down MT cars. As weird as it sounds, they are actually very hard to find. So both of my Soncis were basically the only ones equipped that way in my region. So when there is exactly one available, you really don't have a choice between HB and Sedan.

I luvvv when the dealerships tell me "we don't stock many of those, no demand" when I am standing in front of them, ready to buy.

If only they had finished the design of the rear of the hatchback instead of making it look like a chopped off afterthought, I may have bought one. The hatch is a very unbalanced looking vehicle.

Hatch is much easier to chuck a Stroller in and out of! Plus I have always been a hatch guy. Sedans are cool but I have been big into Rally forever and the Rally Hatch's are always amazing looking.

I got the sedan for the space, and a friend of mine has the... Had the Hatchback LTZ, ( he rear ended a Toyota Highlander 2 times in the same accident) And I liked the space I had in the 2011 Aveo I had previously. Also because I wanted the extra space since I HATE, driving my mothers 2007 Jeep Compass. ( With a passion I hate that box) So with her being sick, and always driving and with my sister in the car...

My mom had a chevette when I was little.. And I also remember crappy little hatches like VW Cabriolets, Dodge Omnis, etc.

Whenever I see a hatch, my mind instantly goes back to those junkboxes.

I got tired of having sedans where the trunk space was huge but the opening was small. The Hatch at least opens everything up to accept odd sized items that otherwise would not get into a sedan. The Hatch is easier to know where your @** is. Also the seats folding down with no other obstructions behind them.

i went looking for a new car for my mom
(she drove a merc sable 2001 into the ground)
so i wanted to get her a new car while looking she started saying how she wanted a new small car.
so i was looking at the Veloster turbo but after looking at it in person she wouldnt want it (seemed much lower to the ground) .
My mom broke both her ankles few years ago and need a car she could just get in and out nice and easy , and after looking at ford(**** ford) i went to a chevy dealer was looking at a cruze and ended up considering the cruze.
finally broke the news to my mom that she was get a brand new car and she got there seen the little red sonic and feel in love , they had to ship my particular one as i wanted an LTZ (was gonna go RS but the stiffer suspension put me off as it was my moms car)

well we went hatch back cause she liked the sportyish look to it , i love the car so much cause its just a blast to drive , i'v driven trucks , random v8's over the years, this 1.4l has me smiling more each time i drive it , i dont mind the torque steer or the little body roll , its just smiles

ill be either modding this car or picking up another in a few years

i more upset i couldnt get it in the trans orange , they never offered it to me for my 2015 i really wanted it tho

yeah I sat in the focus st and fiesta st at the auto show..I would get really tired getting in and out of those seats everyday.. Sonic is easy to get in and out.

I feel your pain. The wife insists we get an SUV as we have my sonic and she uses our Nissan Sentra SE-R primarily to haul our toddler around. We currently have two manual cars

I've told her if she is going to be picky about the SUV we get, she is going to have to help pay for it. I'm not a bloody ATM! To fill you in we just put a pool in last year and she is already over that and wants an SUV.

To get back on topic...I chose the hatchback cause I like the look of it better and I feel they are more versatile. The deciding factor was the deal I found on my hatchback, so that was it for me.

Sedan here. The hatch looks light in the loafers. I owned a 2-door 91 dodge colt hatch that I loved, great Mitsubishi engine, because it reminded me of a shorter station wagon. Probably my age has something to do with it. Yeah...station wagons.
