Came up with a P2227 barometric pressure circuit code wanted to try just replacing the mass air flow sensor anyone have any suggestions that have come across the issue before.

The code never displayed as a check engine light, it would only be pending then when you turn the car on again don't even drive it's cleared from pending again. The scantool has a help site I looked up the code and apparently boost sensor/intake temperature sensor right after the intercooler is the most likely fix for the problem. It's coming only cost 26 bucks so it won't be much of a waste if it doesn't resolve it.

I threw this code a week ago, hit the delete, prayed a lil bit, and it did not come back. But if it does..... would love to no water u did

So far no issues, I replaced the boost sensor/ air temp aka air charge sensor fuel trim is way lower than it was. I'll let you know in a few days if I have anything come back mine was contaminated with oil.

So far nothing still as far as the barometric issue goes. Have a pending for the p1101 but that's nothing new, I had already planned on getting a maf screen which is on the way since the fuel trim is good and I have no air leaks, I'm sure the screen can handle it. Just slow down some of the air going in to make it happier. If not then I know that thing is dead too btw never use k&n lol

It was definitely the boost sensor I've had absolutely no issues what so ever since replacing that. The car has been running perfectly fine. I had to replace that the boost solenoid, and the spark plugs because of the bad manifold. I've put 1000 miles on almost with no issue highly recommend it if you have the fault come back. Also I'm not tuned at all, I was under warranty the place I bought it voided it when that barometric thing came up and blamed the MAF on mr Morgan's intake. It wasn't the maf at all but they seen parts and an error and flipped out. So I'll tune it soon but not right now. I tried that bypass the bypass which worked well and seems to have helped a lot with stuttering when speeding up. Also the MAF screen evened the fuel trim out a lot.
