They told me my car running like complete garbage is my fault because of "shift patterns". I told them if they designed a motor to run like garbage at 2k RPM then they shouldn't have paired with a 6spd.
There is another dealer nearby but would prefer not to have it come to that. This is a royal pain in my ass as is. Sending it over to the next town is not preffered.

They’re finally here! They look so much better than the stock LT wheels. Too bad I can’t put them on yet. Into storage they go until I can refinish them with the new color.
Just a heads up if you decide to order these redrilled wheels, they don’t repaint the lug openings afterward, and you can definitely see it, at least with most lug designs. No big deal for my plans, but I wouldn’t want someone caught off guard if they were planning to install them as they are.

Kind of an annoying request....but....looking for visuals on exhaust setups...before diving into my custom fab. I see the ZZP is a center inlet over the axle, to an offset outlet to rear bumper. What kind of clearance do you have now that you are lowered? Can you see there being any issues in future? Just trying to decide between center/offset or offset/offset, for when I pick up the borla.

I’ve got zzp lowering springs and their turbo back exhaust. There is like 4” of clearance under the muffler and I haven’t rubbed yet. This is the best pic I have but you can see about where it sits.

It’s not annoying to me at all. I’m happy to help. It’s right at 7” at the lowest point.
I got the Vvivid light tint installed on one light today. This is preferable in color compared to the bronze look for my application, but it’s still not true black. It looks violet to me. The dry application was much quicker than the wet film. It took about half the time to do it.

Hmmmm....perhaps I should have clarified haha! Was looking at clearance of over the rear axle. (Not sure if I should be doing double offset of center to offset)

I’m on the waiting list for the BNR GTX14 and valve springs, but I’ll get everything I currently have installed as soon as the coil conversion comes in.
I’m still trying to figure out how to upgrade the fuel system to run the GTX14 on straight E85. So, if anyone has some info on that, please, hook me up.

I have no idea how accurate this performance feature is on the Interceptor gauge, but I figured I’d like some sort of a baseline before the whole gambit of bolt-ons and tune. This is with the stock tune, ZZP turbo back, FMIC, MpFab intake, and ported TB (still stock intake manifold for the moment). I’ll run it on the same stretch of road when done with the install and tune. Slipping the clutch to launch, and shifting slow and easy at ~6000RPM. I’ve heard that these transmissions tend to break when rushed.

The ported intake mani is installed and running well. I had to slice and dice my cold pipe a little bit so it would fit with the TB spacer.
I ran some new tests on the same stretch of road in both directions. DA was nearly 500’ higher on this test, and it still managed to put down equal 1/4-mile times and MPH. It looks to have picked up about a tenth on 0-60. I’d guess that the ported intake manifold is doing some good, even on the stock tune. It feels like it pulls a little stronger up top, but I hate butt-dynos. That’s why I try to back it with data. New baseline, 8.0 seconds 0-60MPH and 16.0@89 in 3000’ DA.

I’m enjoying it, so I’m glad others are as well. I always try to give details on everything so that anyone interested in some of these same modifications can make sure it’s something that they want to do. It’s nice to see results on a part or change before you spend the time and money on it.
By the way, word is that BNR has figured out how to fix the fuel supply issue when running the GTX14 on E85. I’ll be checking with Jerry on those details once the turbos are back in stock.
