Beeping when driving.

So my car started to beep, but the emergency brake and traction lights turn on at the same time. the brake light goes away and the traction light stays. I don't feel any issues when this happens. Any idea what it means?

Update: the alert returns now while driving again.

It was a low brake fluid error BTW. And it did not happen the last time I had to fill up. Need to replace the rear brakes anyhow... But would love to have rear disc brakes instead...

I had a check valve go bad. I heard whistling. For 6 months the only signs I had was low brake fluid, but it was filling up the booster because of the bad check valve.

I almost rear-ended a car on the highway when it all came to the point of failure. My problem was was the Cruise control was giving gas while I was trying to brake.

A simple test: Press on the gas and try to use brakes. If the Brakes are rock hard, then the there's an issue with the check valve, and/or the boost filling up so you don't get any boost.

I do this test now about once a month, just to be sure it's not happening again...
