Yeah it is. But insurance here is crazy priced on a bike. As much or more than the car is. Plus, have some other things we like to do. So, money goes to things like travel and such.

It was just a nice little mostly stock Sporty, Rush slipons, Leather Pros, etc . .. with a dozen or two mods.

Well, you might have got rid of it but I doubt you'll forget it. I went 34 years between Harleys but never forgot them. Got this one 11 years ago and my heirs will have to deal it when I'm gone. '06 FXDBI Street Bob, big bore (97 ci), cams & PV1 tune Plus lots of other mods.

55 here. I bought my daughter's 2015 LT Hatchback. She bought an HRV but couldn't sell her car (she didn't want to trade it in for 2k). Coming from a 2005 Prius I like the drive. But the mileage so far is awful...I have yet to break 22 . Then again the longest distance I've driven is 3 miles in town.

Older guy here also. Love our Sonic . Drives like a go cart.
Oh , , well yes . . . MPG won't be good for that short of drives.
Wife gets 27 to 28 MPG around town and mostly her 5.5 mile drive to work on ours.
On the highway, we get 31 to 36 MPG depending on speed, wind and road conditions.
We have the 1.8L auto.

Do you have 1.4T or 1.8? My 1.4T has averaged 32mpg over 2k-3k miles of ownership with daily traffic jams in Tampa/Brandon at 6pm. I usually use cruise control when able and tuck behind semis, suppose that helps.

Hi, i have a 2015 HB with a 1.8. Just the other day i was driving locally (as usual) and tried out manual mode. I got just over 24 MPG. I'm not sure if that is a coincidence or not. I have a much longer drive in Seattle traffic tomorrow. I'd love to get 27 or 28. Coming from a Prius it's killing me

Im 61 this year... with a 2013 Chevy Sonic LT. (its a sedan.. not sure if thats what LT means, hence being redundant lol)

Im not experienced at mechanics, nor have I had any training for it - but I AM intelligent and know when something doesnt 'sound' right

Hi. I don't get on here a lot. Too busy driving. I am 70 ears old and use my 2012 Sonic LT Sedan 1.4 auto to deliver auto parts in Indianapolis and surrounding area. I have 430K miles on it and still going. On board ultra gauge says I am averaging 35.4 MPG. That is combined city and highway mix at the rate of 200 miles per day. I bought it for the mileage and because it is USA assembled. First subcompact assembled in USA by UAW in Lake Orion, Michigan if I remember correctly. Have a wonderful Labor Day week end!!!! :banana:

WOW ! ! That HAS to be a record.

Assume you've done some "usual" repairs. Intake . . . valve cover. . . wather outlet/pump . . .thermostat. . .. radiator(?). . radiator fan(?). . etc.

Would be good to list the repairs and upkeep in this thread below - - -
