Proper defense rounds will do just as good of a job as a .357 mag. Then again I dont know if you are talking about a .357 sig or a Mag.

I would take a .357 sig over a .45. We could argue points and opinions all day if we wanted, but that wouldnt change any ones mind. I like .380, 9mm, .357 mag and sig, 10mm, and .45. To me it comes down to what is comfortable to shoot and meets my needs for its intended use. "Professionals" thought i was nuts for taking a .30-06 and a .35 Whelen to Africa. Apparently they are not big enough to do exactly what they did. Quite effectively I might add. It all comes down to personal preference and comfort.
And that is why I top off my tank. I prefer to fill it up and am comfortable doing so....

357 Mag!!! Not worried about him coming back he was linked to several B AN E's. Looser got total of 15 in the Pen!!! Repeat criminal, He knows I am armed and could have ended his life in a split second. Cant shoot him outside in the car unless he had a weapon in hand. If I would have seen something there would have been a blood trail in my driveway and the a dead drug addict on the front seat of my car. Instead I pounded his face to the cement with a loaded pistol to his head.
There is a reason the secret service went from 9mm to 5.7, 9mm over penetrates and goes right through you my 5.7 keyholes and rips you apart stopping in a body, 5.7 is a much deadlier round than a 9mm any day

5.7 deserves more credit than it gets, I plan on getting one after i get my 500 mag. I still prefer my 10 to any other round good balance of power and size. Kind of amusing what this thread turned into.
