Agree'd, my wife hates that im a "what if" guy. Even if its a horrible theory I still find them highly entertaining. Just got finished with Jesse Ventura's conspiracy theory book...for the most part a dry read but still a thinker. Fun stuff

Oh I thought people normally change shocks/struts at the same time. How is the car with the eibachs and oem shocks/struts? I'm not interested in lowering as much as I am stiffening it up and preventing roll.

The ride is great. Its plusher than stock, imo. It doesn't have near the body roll either. It handles turns much better at any speed, asorbs bumps well and it looks good. It also has made a big difference in the amount of nose dive when hard braking comes into play.

When you say plusher do you mean softer? That is probably because the poor shocks are already somewhat compressed lol.

I don't really know much about shocks/struts that is what I'm asking. The plusher ride may be because the springs are progressive rate.

That's the exact reason it’s a plusher ride, once it leans into a turn it compresses the softer portion and then leans on the stiffer portion, this is also why it helps on quick/emergency braking as well. From all the little experience I have you usually don't have to swap in short shocks until you get around 2" or lower. Does even 1" affect the life span of the shocks? Most likely but most of us that are going to lower or have lowered are just waiting on Koni or someone else to offer a front strut and rear shock specifically for our set ups.

When I say plusher I mean; there a progressive rate spring and handle the smaller bumps smoother than stock, but not so plush to allow body roll. I was doing farely tight turns @ 100 mph today with ease.
