I would look at more as wasting $50 vs spending $300.
Like I said, its my opinion.
And not my opinion... That's why we don't scare a car. lol

Actually, on the list of reasons me and you don't share a car I'm pretty sure thats near the bottom.

Perhaps. And yes I have trifecta tune, I mentioned that earlier how I logged it and they said it was fine
I really like the Spectre intake in the OP. Dig it.
Exactly.
My personal preference is leaving well enough alone until you are prepared to do it right.
Part of which is supporting companies that dump metric tons of money into development so that these cars can benefit from a thriving aftermarket.
I'll be doing the everything stock plus E85 conversion for our 1.4 atx hatch.
Later on. We will invest in the necessary areas to make the car more lively a little at a time.
Main goal is fun with the least amount of money and easy warranty work.

then you would see a big jump in power with the ZZP as it is a larger diameter pipe. and no where near as restrictive as the rubber tubing used on the stock intake mod.
Funny you mention that because Stratton does, and yet this was on his car when he ran his 1/4 mile marginally faster than anybody else...
I feel as though I made it clear that he started using the zzp because he bought it before he made the custom, but they took a couple months to get it to him.
Can I ask where you got the round band for the mount?
I think your talking about the Silicone coupling, ask at your local parts counter they should be able to come up with a few different choices for you.
