See my post in RDSS' build tread about the DWS that he eventually bought. I now have another 1500 miles on the RE970s and they've been great. They're wet performance is excellent. And although I've not found their limits yet, they're more predictable and communicative than the DWS. The downside is that they still 'tram' too much. It's not enough to replace them. But on good roads, they're quieter and smoother than the DWS. I would still recommend both. If the roads you travel are good roads, the RE970 are great. If you're dealing with poor roads, the DWS is the better choice.
