You clearly need to do a lot more research before doing anything to your car. What you want to do is not possible if you want it to last for any period of time.
A stock 1.8 isnt going to beat much of anything off the line. A stock 1.4 isnt much better, but should beat a stock 1.8 off the line. Getting more power out of the 1.8 will take some work. Its possible, but not quick and easy like you seem to want. Adding some giggle gas may work for a short time, but this engine is not designed for it and the trans will not hold up well. Adding a turbo to a stock internal 1.8 will probably result in the same failure as dinitrogen monoxide.
If you want any kind of long term reliability and increased power levels it will take some careful planning, parts selection, and a proper build. This engine was designed to be reliable at 138hp/125tq and thats about it. The trans is not rated for any more than that either. You have not come across a turbo 1.8 on this forum yet due to these issues. At some point down the road I plan on turboing my 1.8 and I am after about 250 WHP. That will only happen once I am confident that I have selected the correct parts and am ready to do a proper build of the engine. The stock internals might survive a time at 200 WHP, or they might window the block at 150 WHP. We dont know yet.
