just be careful with the carbon fiber don't even get close to it with wax you will have to redo them I found out the hard way .

my roommate works with production graphics and had some spare black vinyl to steal, did up the bowties on my cyber grey hatch, I gotta say the black really ties in well with the plastic of the taillights against the grey. was planning on getting it washed up over the weekend but the temp dipped and I passed it up. Should be super warm come the following days. I'll get some nice pics when it's all shined up

Old thread but, was anyone's bow tie already vinyl covered? My bowties were already matched colored when it was parked at the dealer. I also saw a black sonic that had black covered bowties. I have forgotten to mention this haha

They do color splash at extra charge. There's a black hatch at my dealer now with a red grill and mirrors. I don't think a dealer would ever mess with the bow tie because it's Chevys brand and they're color is gold. You don't ever mess with a brand.

Hmmm then thats strange. For a little bit I thought hmmm maybe someone returned this sonic back but, I got it with 10 miles so thats not possible. It had to be done at the dealer for some weird reason or from factory??

So far, my vinyl over the bowties is holding up pretty good, with the exception of a rock that hit the front bowtie and took a chunk out of the vinyl.

I had plenty of vinyl left over, so I just peeled off the old and replaced with a fresh piece.

I was just glad it hit the bowtie and not my hood!
