Took a 100 mile ride on the bike today. 40ish down i95 doing 80 and 60 on a1a. The new Bluetooth helmet is wonderful. I could hear music doing 80 no problem. Wasn't even maxed out. Highly recommended. Bilt evolution modular. No wind noise at all.

Like I said in my post, it may not be the norm but why would I lie about it? He already said he didn't care, and I like the space the equinox has. We looked at the terrain because it had more standard options we wanted but ended up with the encore.

My bike is still in the shop getting the top end replaced. No worries though. It is freezing right now, windy, and we expect sleet accumulation through the night.

Metroplex will be shut down tomorrow. I guarantee it. We will have a half inch of sleet.

I'm exceptionally well at coping with lemons if I end up with one. I don't get hissy and denounce the entire manufacturer or model. I'm also not devastated if an engine swap will cure a plague of problems. Been a family mechanic all my life. Never encountered a problem that couldn't be fixed, and I've never paid a dime in labor.

Thinking about picking up a new project and dumping my truck. I love to take it off road, but I have no friends into it anymore. Hard to do when you don't have a winch and no friends. Also off-road events in the area are kick ass but end up costing me $250+ a weekend plus any broken parts.

I found a nova a Malibu and a el camino 1500 each no motor or trans. The nova is a 75 not the best year but I'm leaning toward that.

Mid 80s. Toyota AE82 platform if my memory is correct. It was essentially a Corolla.

Chevy sold quite a few rebadged "imports". The Nova, Corolla, Prizm, Vibe, and Matrix all came out of NUMMI.

From 96-2000 Toyota sold a right hand drive, 2.4L, 4 speed auto only Cavalier in Japan. They were built at Lordstown and shipped to Japan.

I have a woman. Things are iffy right now, but I have one.

No man love for me.

We could hang out and do outdoors stuff, but no hook up.

My previous platform for messing around with was the Cavalier. I learned a lot about them over the 11 years I drove them. Still have one of them actually, but the frame rails are rotted out and it needs to go. SHame, its only 17 years old.
