Around a month from now they should be out i still have the prototypes once i get an email that the final springs are ready. ill be getting those then about a week or so after they will go on sale.

this+front sway bar from BNR+ some sticky lower-pro 16" tires (1lt) sounds like it'd be a hoot to toss around.

You don't want a front sway bar. That would just make the car understeer more...

I used to think the same thing, but then I put a huge front sway on my subaru (notorious for understeer) and it made it better.

if your INCREASING the front grip, how can that increase understeer which by definition is a LOSS of front grip?

yes, it will understeer more when you actually get to that point, but it will be at a higher speed.

Bigger wheels with stickier tires cured that understeer right up. Just about all cars are built to understeer for safety purposes.

Our cars are a lot more prone to understeer due to the 67/33 weight distribution. Front grip on our cars has a lot more to do with the limits of tire adhesion, and not bar size.

However, decreasing any roll, front or rear, will help the car turn in a lot more precisely. Just don't think a front bar, by itself, will maximize your cornering ability.

I am hearing that is not the case from the guys who are autocrossing Sonics. I too believed that a rear bar is the first step on a FWD car, but apparently the Sonic's rear beam axle setup is much stiffer than they used to be, and turn-in is pretty incredible.

I'm content to wait for real world results on the front bar.

Curious I can not find the height drop on the eibach springs anywhere. Could you please send me the link.
