Front end bottoming out?

I have a few gouges on the bottom of the bumper cover. There were a few drives that I had to use that were to narrow to angle across and to steep to avoid contact. The air damn has taken some abuse as well. It is flexible, but will pull out of the cover if it takes a big enough impact. Damn construction work sites.

Mine scrapes a lot, but you have to take into account that I'm a lot lower than normal. Going slow and taking angles works fine.

I don't have any problems with the speed bumps in my condo complex, but every time I back out of the driveway when visiting my parents I scrape the front bumper. I've never had this problem with any other car I've ever drove. Luckily it doesn't seem to be doing any damage to it.

You are likely scraping the rubber air dam. My 2012 was lowered and I had no problems with speed bumps and most driveways; I did with my own driveway but not for the bumper, only the rubber air dam. And that was really no problem.

what about driving over a standard curb? anyone attempted this?

I live in a row-house that does not have a driveway, but the three houses beside me burnt down and there is just a vacant chunk of land that I can park my car on. With my truck it was no problem to hop the curb but I'm thinking this would be next to impossible with my LTZ's low profile tires?

After you try, check to see if you still have your air dam, which is used to help maintain stability when driving on an open highway and may also help keep the engine bay cool. If you do not or have loosened it enough that it needs to be removed, then once it is removed you may have good access.

Many decades ago with no forethought I decided to drive my Sonett in areas I often drove my Jeep. The Sonett handled the terrain well with only one problem: I pancaked the exhaust system to the point it could not be repaired. I did not knock it off, indeed it was securely attached. I did flatten it and pushed it against the body pan, requiring using a broom handle and a crow bar to get it away from the body pan (talk about vibration removing tooth fillings) so I could go to a dealer and get a new exhaust installed.

My point: you have the air dam and the exhaust to consider as you go hill climbing. I suspect both will be unusable if you try, but as Dlowwoc said, there is only one way to know for sure.
