Gauge Pod Ideas?

Wow. Awesome. But why no color match?

Anyone know of a paint that matches the stock trim?

Mine does for color. The pod does not have the dimpling the rest does but until I saw this picture ^ and then got in my car to look I had not noticed any variance.

Has anyone done a HOWTO on the Sonic Dual Gauge Pod from ZZP? I'd be interested to see how they routed the cabling.

The pod itself doesnt have any cableing. Im confused? Lol. If you google glowshift gauges they give you install instructions for all their gauges.

You're right but the gauges that would mount in the pod do. I was asking about how the cables were routed from that cubby on the dash to the port...

Lol i know. Just bein a buster. Theres a ton of room under there. I ran mine inbetween the ac vents, down the side of the radio then out to their respective wires. I think the hardest part was getting them even in the pod. They cut mine a little small so it was hard to twist them.

A bit to high for me. Something like the Camaro console set up would look nice on top of the dash because it is more compact.

I like their placement. It is much better for me than in the cubby under the radio would be. There have been many criticisms about where Camaro placed their gauge pod.

Yes, I agree with the placement. If it was recessed into the dash a little more, it would flow better.

Nice job! I know it's ugly now but it will clean up nicely.

Since you have the cubby piece off your car, can you take pics of the hole beneath?

The hole? like the recess in the dash that accepts the cubby?

and yes. bondo and time will make her perfect. i saw the zzp one but its not full enough for me. besides i can stagger and shape and make everything fit as i want as i go. thats why i fiberglass everything i own.

my car will get a pillars and door pods along with this cubby project.

Thank you sir! Looks like it may be a chore to route cables to the OBD2 port but doable.
