Got 40 mpg on the highway

I drove at 80 mph one day with the AC on the highway and averaged 32.9 mpg driving about 140 miles. It appears that the sedans are more areodynamic than the hatchbacks.

I was wondering about this; does anybody have the drag coefficient of both?

Best I got was 49.8mpg but that was me literally filling up with gas pulling straight onto the highway and driving 65mph 20 miles to the next gas station with one 1 mile stretch of being stuck at 35mph. Just for the hell of it basically lol.. realistically I'm averaging 28mpg on my spirited curvy/hilly drives to and from work

Looking forward to good mileage

Our month-old 2015 Sonic LT AT Turbo gets about 31.5 in mixed city/hiway driving, hand calculated, even though the dashboard readout says 33.3.

I hit 41mpg on a 300-mile trip of pure highway driving doing about 68-70MPH. On the way back I got 39mpg going more like 75MPH. Not using A/C but, still, a lot higher than the "official" 35MPG so that's good! 2015 1.8L 5sp LS sedan.

I'm averaging 40 MPG now over the 3800 miles on my 2015 Sonic LT.

Most of these miles being my 70 mile daily commute, 22 miles in town / 48 highway.

Mine was using AC. I've been pretty happy with the MPG on this car.
