hellz yea!! i told dave i want a 4" one just cuz!! and bogus... i just cant decide if i want to sacrifice the fog light... i ran it to my lower grill, but i know the added distance slows flow, as oppose to just a turn up and its there like with this design. i think if i only had the driver's side fog light and a velocity stack coming out the passenger side one, it would either look like i aint playin around.. or stupid lol hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!
i mean i suppose i could always try it and if i don't like it re install the fog light,,, did i just rant and answer my own question> lord i do that a lot sorry lol ideas!!

I know in the past with other cars people have modded the stock air box to have a cone filter inside to replace the flat filter. I might look into this, but I'm not sure how much room is inside until I take a look. If there isn't room I might get creative and see what I can come up with.

I bought the fog light inserts.(15" lt hatch) and just left mine open. No hose to the filter box. But did remove the snorkel and K&n drop in filter. Bang Cai with no hassle.

another thing I have been considering is running an intake tube down into the fender, and then cutting slots into the inner fender and having the filter right there, maybe with one of those mesh cover things over the filter for when it rains, hmmm unless ddm comes out with one, I am making my own

The problem I found in doing this is the air inlet oppening in the car frame is oval not round like on most cars. So pull the front bumper, take the air box out. Remove the snokel and the inlet that mounts to the body. Replace the mount only with out the snorkel. Reinstall the air box. Reinstall the front bumper. There is already some venting in the splash sheild. You could go as far to order a air vent in the bottom of the sheild.

Ordered my 4" pipe in couplers to do this. I hope it sounds how I've pictured it. But that is very unlikely. Still will be awesome to get more sound out of the sab. I will post here but not to thread jack but no reason to start a new one!
I went 4" for more air volume and sound. Picked up a 3"-4" coupler 4" 1' 45 and a 4"-2.5" 90 reducer for the turbo inlet.

3" to 3" coupler (AutoZone)
45degree 3" (AutoZone)
Again. No cutting fit right on. 100 miles no issues! Less than $40!!!!
