How often do you guys change oil to maximize longevity?

I have a sonic with the 1.4 turbo / 6 speed manual. For those of you out there with really high mileage cars, are you changing your oil every 7,500 miles as the owners manual suggests, or more frequently? I'm trying to make my car last as long as possible and would love to hear any tips from some of the higher mileage owners. Thanks!

I do every 5,000 or so. Currently at 96000 but I can’t say much more than that.

When I was driving my Sonic 85mi/day (Monday - Friday), I would change the oil every 6K miles. I was averaging about 1.5K - 2k miles a month so I was changing the oil every 3 months. My Sonic is 10 years old and has 105K miles on the clock. Since 2016 it, only gets driven about 5k or 6k mile/year now that I live much closer to my job.
