You beat me by a few years. 43 and first new vehicle. But as I pointed out in my intro thread, my 65 year old dad bought one the week after I did. I think our 108 years combined may be a record for a 2 Sonic family.

26 here... past cars include 1995 lincoln mark VIII, 95 Chevy 1500, 95 Dodge Intrepid, 95 Ford Taurus, 2001 Kia Sephia, 84 Toyota station wagon and right before I got my first new car, the 2013 Chevy Sonic, I was driving a 95 Ford Escort... never occurred to just how many 95's I've owned till just now lol

I had a 94 markviii. I loved that car! Was straight piped exhaust with side pipes on it. Sounded amazing. Ran awesome! Till my bro Inlaw side swiped a tree at 180k miles. That finished her off

I'm 68 and feel like an antique here. I bought the Sonic to replace my Aveo. Loved the Aveo and am very happy with the Sonic. I can get 40 to 42 MPG if I do mostly country driving. I'm sure I could do 45 if I really babied it. That is my primary reason for buying it as I am retired and on fixed income.
